"The Monash Contractor Induction Program, the first of its kind to be developed at Monash, is being used as a template for developing other types of induction programs.
The program serves as a useful tool in providing contractors at Monash with an overall understanding of the University and their responsibilities as contractors working on-site. All contractors (and sub-contractors) are required to view the induction and answer simple questions to test their understanding.
The program can be used for one-on-one training or training of mass numbers of contractors. The induction program is seen as a significant step forward in the delivery of training via multimedia.
