The Monash Contractor Induction Program, the first of its kind to be developed at Monash, is being used as a template for developing other types of induction programs. The program serves as a useful tool in providing contractors at Monash with an overall understanding of the University and their responsibilities as contractors working on-site. All contractors (and sub-contractors) are required to view the induction and answer simple questions to test their understanding. The program can be used for one-on-one training or training of mass numbers of contractors. The induction program is seen as a significant step forward in the delivery of training via multimedia. The programmers, Instant Recall Australia, provided prompt, professional and proactive customer approach at all times.
Thanks for all of your efforts in the development of our induction training package. It is great! Since the initial meetings to discuss the scope of the project, Instant Recall have been extremely professional in their approach to our project. Your expertise and guidance assisted us to develop a very professional induction package for our employees and contractors. The project tracked well once it commenced and all issues along the way were dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner. ABB look forward to working with Instant Recall on future training initiatives. Thanks again for your assistance.
We would like to pass on our reasons for choosing Instant Recall as our successful vendor for creation of our eTrain assessments. Proven providers (Fire & Emergency plus knowledge of their work in other · organisations eg Telstra). Successful in moving to RFP phase (therefore Operational Capability sound). Reputation of being responsive. Clear understanding of ANZ requirements articulated in proposal. Favourable feedback from Learning Service Consultants. Cost competitive. Cost transparent.
CD ROM based learning in this innovative form allows new employees to learn about Council at their own pace and with a bit of fun. All required induction information is covered for new employees and the organisation gets across a consistent message up front.
It is with pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for the team at Instant Recall Australia. I found that individually and collectively the partners at Instant Recall displayed the highest professional standards, communicated a realistic perspective on what was possible and were able to offer sustainable and creative solutions to our development and implementation needs. In particular, I came to rely on and respect their:
- Perception of the task as requiring a truly creative collaboration founded upon respect for all members of the team and for the many members of our workforce with whom they had dealings.
- Expertise within the field of developing multimedia products – especially with an OH&S focus.
- Clarity in finding, communicating and building solutions to overcome diverse problems.
It was no mean task to take the legislative requirements, the complex needs of a safety committee and the vision of a design team to create a finished product of the caliber we received from Instant Recall Australia. At all times, we found the Instant Recall Australia team stayed true to our preconceptions of the finished product whilst contributing their own expertise. Budgets were rigorously adhered to and when a change to the design specifications did demand a budgetary change, this was smartly negotiated and documented so that the overall requirements and time line of the project were not compromised.
Careful evaluation of the project as it was implemented has shown that the crafting of the finished product and in every recommendation made by Instant Recall Australia, our company’s requirements were met and indeed exceeded. On behalf of the Safety, Health & Environment Committee I thank them for their major role in the creation of an exemplary Safety Induction package – and the style in which it was achieved.
